Bowling Green Station 1
The seat of the county and the 3rd largest city in Kentucky, Bowling Green is a career department operating out of 7 stations.
Over the years, Bowling Green's company numbers have varied and have not necessarily corresponded with their station numbers. Recently, the company numbering has been standardized and the apparatus have received updated graphics.
Several units have been associated with Company 1 (Headquarters). At times, there has been a single engine or rescue-engine, a two-piece engine company, or an engine and rescue, plus a truck company. Currently, Station 1 is home to Rescue 1 and Truck 1. Rescue 1 responds city-wide on all fires and rescues and as an engine company in its first due district. Station 1 also houses Technical Rescue 11.
