Over the years, Bowling Green's company numbers have varied and have not necessarily corresponded with their station numbers. Recently, the company numbering has been standardized and the apparatus have received updated graphics.
Historically, Company 6 has run as the second piece of Company 1, has been housed at Station 2, or has been numbered as a Rescue. The current Station 6 was opened in 2009 and is home to Engine 6, Truck 6 (which was established in 2018), and Brush 6.
