Truck Co. 6 - Disbanded

Hook & Ladder 6 went into service in 1909. In 1936, it became Quad 6 when Louisville implemented the first of several quad companies. In 1972, Quad 6 was reorganized as Engine 4 and Truck 6. In 1998, the two companies again consolidated as Quad 6, when a modern quad apparatus was delivered. In 2009, when the additional quint/quad staffing was removed as a result of budget cuts, Quad 6 was disbanded, reverting back to Engine 4.
