Fire Boats

Louisville Fire's jurisdiction covers 8 bridges over the Ohio River as well as locks and dams, which present a number of emergencies each year. For many years, Louisville has maintained a fleet of watercraft for not only Ohio River response, but swift water rescue response throughout the city and region.
