Engine Co. 6
Engine 6 was organized in 1866, after Louisville annexed the city of Portland and consolidated their two former volunteer fire companies. Engine 6 responds from a modern facility at 2500 Griffiths Avenue, which was built in 2010. Its first-due area is still distinctly known as the Portland neighborhood.
