Engine Co. 23
Engine 23 and Truck 8 began service together in 1924 at 501 Ashland Avenue. It was deactivated in 1937 when Quad 8 was placed into service at that location. Engine 23 reentered service at a new firehouse at 706 Kenwood Drive in 1956, replacing Engine 12. In 1992, the company began operating as Telesqurt 23, after the delivery of a new apparatus equipped with a telescoping water tower. In 2014, the Telesqurt was replaced with a new standard pumper as Engine 23.
