Engine Co. 13 - Disbanded
Engine 13 was established in 1884 in a firehouse affectionately known as “The Fishing Camp,” due to its proximity to the Ohio River in the west end. It was relocated in 1924 and ultimately disbanded in 1937, when Quad 4 went on track. Very few historical photos exist of this company and to this day, the superstitious number “13” has not been reactivated.
