Owensboro Station 2
Established in 1866, Owensboro is a career fire department operating from 5 stations, protecting the 4th largest city in Kentucky.
Owensboro Fire Station No. 2 was opened in 1999 on East Parrish Ave to serve the east end of the city. Prior, Engine Co. 2 ran from the combined Station No. 1 in downtown Owensboro after the city closed the old Fire Station No. 2.
Today, Station No. 2 is home to Engine Co. 2 and Quint Co. 2.
